You won't have anyone compliment you taste if you install this outside, but their jaw may drop at the number of stations you pull in and their picture quality. This antenna is a good choice for those who want high performance, but insist on an attic installation. Many reviewers had luck just placing this beast on their attic floor. We don't suggest that, but it gives you an idea how powerful the unit is. Note that this unit is more directional than either the Clearstream C4 or the DB4, so if you do decide on the 4228 make sure your stations are coming from roughly the same area. Don't forget you will need either a mast  or an attic
mount to complete
